Fees & Execution

What are the fees?

Click charges a fee when a trade executes. A conversion can also include a Click fee, shown in the quote before you confirm. There are no account or recurring fees.

What slippage do you recommend?

Slippage depends on market volatility.

  • Low volatility: lower slippage may work.

  • High volatility or fast-moving tokens: higher slippage is often required.

If you see slippage exceeded, the trade did not go through and you keep your tokens. If it failed on-chain, the network fee (gas) is still charged. Adjust slippage to your trading style.

What is Buy/Sell fee?

Buy/Sell fee is a network priority fee used to speed up transaction execution. Higher fees increase execution speed. You can customize this setting.

What is MEV Protection?

MEV Protection keeps your transaction private so it cannot be front-run. When enabled, your transaction is not visible in the public mempool.

What does Price Impact mean?

Price Impact shows how much your trade is expected to move the token price due to available liquidity.

Transaction failed, why?

Your funds were not lost. The trade did not go through, though a transaction that failed on chain still costs the network fee.

Most common reasons:

  1. Slippage exceeded. Price moved beyond your allowed slippage. Increase slippage or retry.

  2. Not enough for fees. Keep some SOL, BNB or ETH on the chain you trade to cover network fees.

What is Slippage Exceeded?

Slippage exceeded means the trade was simulated and canceled because the price moved too far. No trade was executed and no tokens were spent.
