# Convert

## Overview

**Convert** lets you move funds between your Click balances in a single step, without withdrawing to an external wallet and depositing again. You can convert between your Spot wallets on different networks, your Perps balance and your Prediction Markets balance.

For example, you can turn SOL in your Solana main wallet into USDC margin for Perps, or move Perps USDC into your Prediction Markets balance. Click routes the conversion across networks for you and shows the full quote, including fees, before you confirm.

## Supported Balances

You can convert from and to any of the following:

* **Solana main wallet (SOL)**
* **BSC main wallet (BNB)**
* **Robinhood main wallet (ETH)**
* **Perps** (USDC)
* **Predictions** (pUSD)

If you hold USDC on Solana, BSC or Arbitrum, that USDC also appears under **Convert from** as its own entry, for example **Solana main wallet (USDC)**. It can't be picked under **Convert to**.

Pairs that aren't available yet are greyed out in the list with the note "This conversion route is not currently supported."

## How to Convert Funds

### Step 1: Open the Convert Window

Open the profile menu in the top-right corner of the terminal and select **Convert**.

If the Exchange window is already open, switch to the **Convert** tab at the top of the window.

### Step 2: Choose What to Convert From

Under **Convert from**, open the wallet selector and choose the balance you'd like to convert. The panel shows the asset and your **Available:** balance.

### Step 3: Choose What to Convert To

Under **Convert to**, select **Select destination** and choose the balance you'd like to receive. The wallet you picked under **Convert from** is marked **In use** and can't be selected on both sides.

To flip the direction, use the **Swap wallets** button between the two panels.

### Step 4: Enter the Amount

Type the amount under **Convert from**, or select **Use MAX** to convert your full available balance. The **Convert to** panel shows the estimated amount you'll receive.

Each source asset has a minimum amount, so a conversion never costs more in fees than it moves:

| Converting from    | Minimum    |
| ------------------ | ---------- |
| SOL                | 0.01 SOL   |
| BNB                | 0.002 BNB  |
| ETH                | 0.0006 ETH |
| USDC (Perps)       | 1 USDC     |
| pUSD (Predictions) | 1 pUSD     |

If the amount is below the minimum, the field shows **Minimum:** followed by the required amount.

### Step 5: Review the Quote

Before you confirm, review the quote below the panels:

* **Rate**: the conversion rate between the two assets
* **Network fee**: the estimated cost to move the funds
* **You will receive**: the estimated amount that will arrive
* **Click fee**: the Click fee for this conversion

The quote refreshes automatically while the window is open.

### Step 6: Convert

Select **Convert** to submit. You'll see **Conversion submitted** ("Processing started. Balances will update once it completes.") and then **Conversion completed** once the funds arrive.

## Recent Conversions

The **Recent conversions** list at the bottom of the Convert window shows your latest conversions with their status: **Pending**, **Completed** or **Failed**. Select **Show more conversions** to load older entries.

## Common Messages

| Message                    | What it means                                                     |
| -------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Insufficient balance       | The amount is higher than your available balance.                 |
| Minimum: amount and asset  | The amount is below the minimum for the source asset.             |
| Below $5 HyperCore minimum | Conversions into Perps must deliver at least $5.                  |
| Quote unavailable          | A quote couldn't be fetched. Try again or try a different amount. |
| Routes unavailable         | Conversion routes couldn't be loaded. Select **Retry routes**.    |
| Conversion status unknown  | The conversion may still be processing. Don't submit it again.    |

## Important Notes

* Convert only moves funds between your own Click balances. To send funds to an external wallet, use **Withdraw**.
* Quotes are estimates and refresh automatically. The amount you receive can differ slightly from the estimate.
* If a conversion shows **Conversion status unknown**, do not resubmit it. Click keeps syncing it in the background. If it doesn't resolve, contact Click Support through Discord.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What's the difference between Convert and Withdraw?

**Convert** moves funds between your own Click balances (Spot wallets, Perps and Prediction Markets). **Withdraw** sends funds out of Click to an external address.

### Do I need 2FA to convert?

No. Conversions stay within your Click account, so they don't require a 2FA approval.

### Why can't I select a wallet under Convert to?

The wallet you're converting from is marked **In use**, and pairs that aren't available yet are greyed out. Choose a different wallet, or use **Swap wallets** to reverse the direction.
