## Order Types

The Perpetual Futures terminal supports multiple order types to suit different trading strategies. Scale, Stop Limit, Stop Market, and TWAP are under the **Pro** menu.

### Market

Executes your order immediately at the best available market price.

### Limit

Places an order at a specific price and executes only if that price is reached.

### Scale

Gradually enters a position across a user-defined price range instead of executing the entire order at once.

### Stop Limit

Activates a limit order once your specified stop price has been reached.

### Stop Market

Triggers a market order when your chosen stop price is reached, making it ideal for automated entries and exits.

### TWAP

Breaks a large order into multiple smaller trades that execute over time to help reduce market impact.

## Position Management

Once a position has been opened, you can manage it directly from the trading terminal.

Available actions include:

* Increase your position
* Reduce your position
* Close your position
* Modify Take Profit and Stop Loss

All position updates are reflected immediately throughout the platform.

## Managing Risk

{% hint style="danger" %}
Leveraged trading carries additional risk compared to spot trading.
{% endhint %}

Before opening a position, consider:

* Your selected leverage
* Liquidation price
* Position size
* Available margin
* Stop Loss placement
* Take Profit targets

Using appropriate risk management tools can help reduce exposure during periods of increased market volatility.

## Tips

* Lower leverage generally provides a larger margin for market fluctuations.
* Always review your liquidation price before confirming a trade.
* Consider setting Take Profit and Stop Loss levels when opening a position.
* Monitor funding rates if you're planning to hold positions over longer periods.
* Use advanced order types such as Scale and TWAP for larger entries.
